Bjelovarski sajam d.o.o. (Bjelovar fair) is founded in 1995. The fair owners are the County of Bjelovar-Bilogora and City of Bjelovar.
By means of economy and donations there were great funds invested in existing location to create conditions for fair show organizing.
Total size of the area amounts 235.000m2 , and for exhibitions adapted are:
- 2.000 m2 closed facilities
- 1.600 m2 half closed facilities
- 10.000 m2 opened facilities
- 5.000 m2 objects for cattle exhibition and
40.000 m2 of parking space is arranged.
The main manifestation International livestock and trade fair is held every year in the beginning of September. More than 500 exhibitors participates, thereof 400 cattle-breeders and it is visited by 50.000 visitors.
Apart from this the fair organizes a number of other events, such as:
Spring fair, small animal fair, equestrian shows, cattle auctions, farmer's, fruit-grower's and wine-grower's exhibitions, expert meetings, weekly cattle fairs and other.
It worths to participate on Bjelovar fair because it is a place where the newest technological and scientific achievements in economy are accomplished, specially in agriculture, and where business contracts and meetings are concluded.
Selling at fair on this area, specially cattle, has a centuries-long tradition which Bjelovar fair wishes to continue.
